Freo’s favourite globe trotting troubadour Carus Thompson is back from his European tour and performing at his favourite home-town haunt - Clancy’s on Sunday 6th April.
Fresh from packed out shows through Germany, the UK and Switzerland Carus will play 2 sets at this special Sunday show. He’ll play all his folk-rocking-reggae favourites as well as giving a sneak peak of songs from his forthcoming 9th studio album.
Carus has toured the world alongside The John Butler Trio, The Waifs, Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson & Pete Murray, selling over 30,000 albums along the way.
He’s won a WAM Song of The Year and been a finalist in the highly respected International Song Writing Competition.
His passionate and genuine pub-rock approach to performance, sets him apart from the majority of singer-songwriters. A Carus Thompson show will always be a journey through quiet ballads, to all out rockers, to some dance-floor fillers, all delivered with his unpretentious, crowd-inclusive energy.
